About us - Woolnest: A home for cats, a step forward for the world

The Woolnest story is built on three pillars: love, care and responsibility. Our brand offers 100% handmade cat houses, crafted by Nepalese women from villages in the foothills of the Himalayas. These houses are more than just sleeping places – they are unique, lovingly crafted houses made from organic wool, specially designed for our beloved cats.

Our goal is to maintain the Nepalese craft tradition and indirectly provide employment to the local women who make these products with love and dedication. In the foothills of the Himalayas we have found a workshop that uses only natural materials and where every product is made by hand.

At Woolnest we are also committed to protecting the environment. We believe that our products not only contribute to the comfort of our cats, but also to the preservation of our planet. The organic wool offers a sustainable alternative to plastic-based products and contributes to a greener future.

Our brand also has a special mission: part of our income goes to supporting the education of young monks in a Buddhist monastery. In this way, we bring not only cats, but also the world, more peace and harmony through a new generation that carries these values.
